The United States Aikikai is an American Aikido Organization founded in 2000, dedicated to the cultivation and promotion of (Budo) and the Japanese martial art of Aikido as created and exemplified by it’s founder, Morihei Ueshiba. United States Aikikai strives to promote growth, synergy and friendship among its members and other Aikido dojos and organizations around the world by creating and promoting events, seminars and workshops for the practice and instruction of Aikido in accordance with Aikido World Headquarters Hombu Dojo Aikikai.

MEMBERSHIP
United States Aikikai provides guidance, recognition and accreditation of Aikido dojos,  Aikido Clubs and Aikido practitioners within the United States of America territory.

An Aikido dojo offers training consistently at least three times per week, and the Instruction is provided by a Shidoin or Fukushidoin. An Aikido club offers an Aikido program that meets consistently at least two times per week, and the Instruction is provided by a Shodan or a higher ranking instructor.

AIKIDO BOOKLET
Membership entitles the student to a membership card or booklet, in which records of certification dates and seminar attendance are recorded.

RANK TESTING & CERTIFICATES
United States Aikikai has established standardized requirements for (kyu) rank promotion and black belt (yudansha) examinations. The organization provides certificates for successful kyu rank promotions, and all dan certificates are issued by Aikido World Headquarters.

SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS

United States Aikikai organizes Aikido workshops and seminars through out the year inside and outside of the United States for members and visitors.

TRAINING MATERIALS

United States Aikikai has develop a complete training support material in the form of videos and training manual for its members and students with clear guidelines for development.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

United States Aikikai Yearly Membership is $50 due in January.
